"Future Force" is a low-budget, sci-fi action movie from 1989, directed by David A. Prior. The movie is set in Los Angeles in the year 1991, where the city is controlled by a corrupt police force, led by Captain Bly (Robert Tessier). The story revolves around an enigmatic hero named John Tucker (David Carradine), who works as a bounty hunter, bringing in the most dangerous criminals and delivering them to justice.

The movie starts with Tucker's latest mission, where he is chasing a group of armed robbers who have hijacked a truck containing highly dangerous nuclear waste. Tucker stops them in their tracks, dodges bullet after bullet, and delivers them to the police station. This is where he meets fellow bounty hunter Billie Munroe (Anna Rapagna), who admires his skills and wants to team up with him for their next bounty.

Meanwhile, Captain Bly has his own plans of taking over the city and making it his personal empire. He orders his cops to start a riot in the downtown area, causing destruction and mayhem. Tucker witnesses this firsthand and decides to take Bly down once and for all. He teams up with Billie and discovers a sinister plot involving Bly and his plan to use the nuclear waste stolen earlier to create an army of invincible cyborgs.

Tucker and Billie set out to expose Bly's plan and stop him at any cost. They face several challenges and obstacles as they make their way through the city, fighting off Bly's cyborg army and corrupt cops. But with Tucker's skills and Billie's persistence, they manage to uncover the truth and put an end to Bly's evil reign.

The movie is classic '80s action, with cheesy one-liners, over-the-top fight scenes, and a simple plot that doesn't take itself too seriously. David Carradine brings a sense of gravitas to his role as the brooding, no-nonsense hero, who will stop at nothing to protect the innocent. Robert Tessier is suitably menacing as the villain, with a deep voice and imposing presence. And Anna Rapagna adds a touch of glamour to the proceedings, as the tough, street-smart heroine who gives as good as she gets.

While the movie is clearly dated in terms of its special effects and production values, it's still an enjoyable romp that will appeal to fans of the genre. The action scenes are well choreographed, and the pacing is brisk, never allowing the story to drag. The movie also has a fun, campy vibe to it, with numerous nods to classic sci-fi movies of the past, such as "The Terminator" and "Blade Runner."

Overall, "Future Force" is a fun, entertaining movie that doesn't take itself too seriously. It's a relic of a bygone era, when action movies were simple, straightforward, and full of testosterone-fueled heroes. If you're looking for a silly, escapist movie that will transport you back to the 1980s, then this is definitely worth checking out.

Future Force is a 1989 action movie with a runtime of 1 hour and 20 minutes. It has received mostly poor reviews from critics and viewers, who have given it an IMDb score of 3.3.
