Futurama: Into the Wild Green Yonder is the fourth and final feature-length installment of the Futurama franchise. The movie sees the Planet Express crew taking on a new mission as they explore the deep mysteries of the universe in their quest to save it from total destruction. The movie kicks off with the news of the hostile takeover of Mars Vegas by the conglomerate Yivo, who transforms the entire planet into an eye-catching casino to lure in tourists. Meanwhile, Leela discovers a unique species of violet dwarf stars that emit a rare type of cosmic dust that is causing dreamlike visions in people. The matter is brought to the attention of the mysterious and hermetic Order of the Binary Singularity, who reveal that the visions are related to the ancient legend of the Green Alpha, a powerful entity said to possess the power to save the universe from the impending doom.
As the Order of the Binary Singularity begins tracking the Green Alpha, the Planet Express crew takes on a dangerous mission to save the universe from total destruction at the hands of the universe's most powerful bosses, their offspring, and their hired guns. They find themselves on a mission to find a way to stop the marriage between Yivo and the galaxy which will have catastrophic consequences, such as the loss of freedom and individuality for everyone in the universe.
The crew with the assistance of Amy's father Reverend Putty locates a drop of tar that they suspect to be the substance causing the visions. Upon testing, the team finds out it's the Yivo who is causing the dreams on purpose. Yivo comes out and meets the crew and takes them to their home planet, where they live in the ultimate embrace of love and have no free will of their own.
The film comes to a climax as the Planet Express crew and the inhabitants of the universe race against time to stop Yivo from marrying the galaxy, as she would absorb all life forms within the galaxy, resulting in the death of everything living. The stakes are high, and as things seem to be going against them, the crew must rely on all their wit and instincts to pull off a miracle and save the entire universe.
As the crew gets closer to the wedding of Yivo and the universe, they stumble upon the powerful entity known as the Green Alpha.
