The movie is set in the fictional Wonder World amusement park, which is situated somewhere in California. The park has seen better days, and its glory days are long gone. Angus Perry, the park’s owner desperately needs to come up with something new and exciting to bring in the crowds. However, things start to take a turn for the worse when the new ride is sabotaged by an unknown assailant. People start to disappear, and the park's employees are being stalked and killed one by one. The police are called in to investigate, but they seem to be unable to crack the case. As more and more people disappear, Angus becomes convinced that the culprit is someone who is trying to ruin his business.

To make matters worse, a group of misfits and their boss named Leviticus Bundy, have arrived at the park. Bundy is a religious extremist who believes that the park is a haven of sin and he is determined to destroy it. He rallies his unorthodox followers to bring down the park by any means necessary.
