Fright Night is a movie from 2011 that stars Anton Yelchin, Colin Farrell, and David Tennant. The movie is a modern re-imagining of the 1985 cult classic of the same name. Fright Night tells the story of Charlie Brewster (Anton Yelchin), a high school senior living in a quiet suburb of Las Vegas. Charlie is a typical teenager - he has a girlfriend, Amy Peterson (Imogen Poots), he's trying to impress, and he's trying to keep his cool in front of his best friend, Ed (Christopher Mintz-Plasse). But when his new neighbor, Jerry (Colin Farrell), moves in next door, Charlie starts to become suspicious.

At first, Charlie is just a little curious about Jerry. He's seen carrying around strange objects in the middle of the night and he's always wearing dark sunglasses. But when Ed goes missing, Charlie becomes convinced that Jerry is a vampire.

At first, Charlie tries to ignore his suspicions. He confides in his mother (Toni Collette) and his girlfriend, but they don't believe him. Eventually, Charlie turns to Las Vegas magician, Peter Vincent (David Tennant), for help.

Peter Vincent is a self-proclaimed vampire killer, but he's really just a washed-up performer. Charlie convinces Vincent to help him hunt down Jerry, but the two quickly realize they're in over their heads.

Without giving away too much of the plot, Fright Night is a classic horror movie with plenty of scares, suspense, and blood. The movie pays homage to the original film while also updating it for modern audiences.

The cast of Fright Night is one of the film's strongest points. Anton Yelchin is charming as Charlie and gives a believable performance as a teenager who is struggling to cope with the supernatural. Colin Farrell is terrifying as Jerry, the vampire-next-door. Farrell's performance is equal parts menacing and seductive, and he steals every scene he's in.

David Tennant is also fantastic as Peter Vincent. Tennant is known for his role in Doctor Who, and his portrayal of Peter Vincent is a departure from his previous work. Vincent is a flawed character who is full of bravado and insecurity, and Tennant plays him to perfection.

One of the most impressive aspects of Fright Night is the special effects. The movie was made on a relatively small budget, but the filmmakers have managed to create some truly terrifying creatures. The vampire transformations are expertly done, and the scenes featuring the vampires in their true form are genuinely scary.

Overall, Fright Night is a movie that horror fans will love. It's a modern update of a classic story, with plenty of scares, suspense, and humor. The cast is fantastic, the special effects are impressive, and the movie is a lot of fun to watch. If you're looking for a good horror movie, Fright Night is definitely worth a watch.

Fright Night is a 2011 horror movie with a runtime of 2 hours. It has received moderate reviews from critics and viewers, who have given it an IMDb score of 6.4 and a MetaScore of 64.
