Freeloaders is a 2012 comedy film directed by Dan Rosen and starring Josh Lawson, Clifton Collins Jr., Brit Morgan, and a few notable guest appearances. The story revolves around a group of slacker friends who have been living in a lavish mansion in the Hollywood Hills for years, without paying rent or contributing to the upkeep of the property. However, their blissful freeloading lifestyle comes crashing down when the mansion is sold and they are given just 30 days to vacate the premises.

The main character of the movie is Dave (Josh Lawson), a charming and carefree guy who always has a witty quip ready. He is the ringleader of the freeloading gang and he is the one who convinces everyone else to keep mooching off their benefactor, Darren (Kevin Sussman). Darren is a former musician who made it big in the entertainment industry, but has now retired to the mansion to lead a quiet life. He doesn't mind having the group around, as he enjoys the company and considers them his friends. However, his girlfriend, Kendall (Olivia Munn), is less tolerant and thinks the freeloaders are a bunch of lazy losers who are taking advantage of Darren's generosity.

The rest of the freeloading gang is made up of Jack (Clifton Collins Jr.), who is an aspiring rapper but has yet to make it big. Benny (Dan Rosen) is a former child star who now spends his days smoking weed and reminiscing about his glory days. Fritz (Zack Pearlman) is a nerdy guy who is addicted to video games and junk food. And Barrett (Nat Faxon) is a lazy womanizer who has never worked a day in his life.

When the group is given notice that they have to leave the mansion, they initially panic and try to come up with ways to convince Darren to let them stay. However, when that fails, they begin to scheme and plot ways to raise enough money to buy the mansion themselves. Along the way, they get involved in various hijinks and antics, such as trying to throw a rave to raise money, stealing a rare guitar from a music store, and even resorting to blackmail.

Throughout the movie, there are also numerous cameo appearances from various celebrities, such as Jane Lynch, Adam Duritz, and Counting Crows. They all play exaggerated versions of themselves and add to the overall absurdity of the film.

Overall, Freeloaders is a silly and entertaining comedy that doesn't take itself too seriously. While the plot is fairly predictable and the jokes aren't always laugh-out-loud funny, the cast has good chemistry and the movie's heart is in the right place. It's a lighthearted and easy-to-watch film that will appeal to fans of raunchy comedies and anyone who enjoys a good underdog story.

Freeloaders is a 2013 comedy with a runtime of 1 hour and 19 minutes. It has received mostly poor reviews from critics and viewers, who have given it an IMDb score of 4.4.
