Freedom Strike, released in 1998, is an action-packed military thriller directed by Jerry P. Jacobs. The movie is set in a fictional country in the Middle East, where an oppressive regime led by a ruthless and power-hungry dictator has taken control of the government. The country is in a state of chaos after a bloody coup, and the dictator's military has embarked on a campaign of violence and terror, targeting innocent civilians who dare to protest against his regime.

The story follows a team of elite Delta Force commandos, led by Colonel Matt Cooper (Michael Dudikoff), who are sent on a mission to overthrow the dictator and restore democracy to the beleaguered country. The team must navigate through a labyrinthine network of tunnels and underground bunkers, facing deadly traps and enemy fire at every turn. Along the way, they encounter a local rebel group led by a fearless woman named Sara (Felicity Waterman), who becomes an unexpected ally in their fight against the dictator.

The team also has to contend with a traitor in their midst, a mercenary working for the dictator who has infiltrated their ranks and is feeding information to the enemy. As the clock ticks down and the stakes get higher, the team must use every trick in their book to outsmart the enemy and save the country from destruction.

The movie is packed with explosive action sequences, featuring high-speed chases, fiery explosions, and intense shootouts. The Delta Force commandos are a force to be reckoned with, and they make use of an impressive array of weapons and equipment, including tanks, helicopters, and high-powered assault rifles.

Michael Dudikoff's portrayal of the tough, dedicated Colonel Cooper is spot-on, and he brings a believable intensity to the role. His character is never afraid to get his hands dirty, and he is willing to make the tough decisions necessary to achieve his goal. Felicity Waterman's Sara is also a standout, bringing a fierce determination and resilience to her role as the rebel leader.

Tone Loc provides some comic relief as a sassy and wisecracking helicopter pilot, injecting some much-needed levity into the otherwise tense and serious proceedings. The rest of the cast is also solid, featuring a mix of veteran actors and newcomers.

Freedom Strike is a gripping and entertaining action movie that delivers plenty of thrills and excitement. While some of the plot points may seem a bit cliche or formulaic, the strong performances and well-executed action sequences more than make up for any shortcomings. For fans of the military thriller genre, this is a must-see movie that will not disappoint.

Freedom Strike is a 1998 action movie with a runtime of 1 hour and 33 minutes. It has received mostly poor reviews from critics and viewers, who have given it an IMDb score of 3.7.
