Frankensteer is a Canadian documentary about the condition of our cattle today. The film takes an in depth look at the chemicals and hormones given to cattle in the effort to produce more beef. It analyses why the competitive market pushes companies to go to extremes to produce cheaper beef and the possible dangers involved in consuming the meat after the animals have been exposed to as much as they have.
