Watch For Heaven's Sake

For Heaven's Sake is a comedy-drama about a grandmother's desperate attempts to get back to Earth after dying, in order to keep a promise to her granddaughter to come on the girl's 11th birthday. As the granddaughter grows mysteriously ill, yet desperately pretends to be well, she continues to insist that her grandmother will come on her birthday, despite having died.

Heaven is portrayed as a bureaucracy with plenty of red tape to cut through in order to get back to Earth for a visit. While waiting, the grandmother thinks back on when she met her husband in the 1940s.
