Sands is called upon to recover the plane and the weapon before it falls into the wrong hands. Sands is a skilled and resourceful operator, but he soon discovers that there is more to the mission than he initially thought. The plane has been hijacked by a group of mercenaries who are working for a rogue CIA agent named Prescott (played by Angus MacInnes). Prescott has plans to use the weapon to start a global conflict and make a profit from the ensuing chaos.
