Flesh Wounds is a 2011 action-thriller movie that tells the story of a former soldier named Tyler who is hired to protect a pharmaceutical company CEO named Hunt. Tyler is a tough, no-nonsense kind of guy with a shady past that he is trying to put behind him. Hunt is a successful businessman who has made a lot of enemies over the years. When a group of mercenaries attack Hunt and Tyler, they are forced to flee into the nearby woods.

There, they meet a group of survivors who have been living off the land since a devastating virus wiped out most of the population. The survivors are led by a tough-as-nails woman named Anne who has her own agenda. She sees the attack on Hunt as an opportunity to gain leverage against the pharmaceutical company and its corrupt CEO.

As Tyler and Hunt try to make their way out of the woods and back to civilization, they are hunted by the mercenaries who will stop at nothing to eliminate them. Along the way, Tyler has to confront his own demons and make a choice about the kind of man he wants to be.

Kevin Sorbo plays Tyler, the former soldier who is tasked with protecting Hunt. Sorbo brings his trademark toughness and charisma to the role of Tyler, giving the character an edge that makes him believable as a soldier and a survivor.

Bokeem Woodbine plays Hunt, the CEO who finds himself in the wrong place at the wrong time. Woodbine is convincing as the privileged businessman who has never faced a real threat in his life. When he is forced to confront danger, he shows a surprising level of resilience and resourcefulness.

Heather Marie Marsden plays Anne, the leader of the survivors who takes a shine to Tyler. Marsden brings a tough, no-nonsense energy to the role of Anne, making her a formidable opponent for Tyler and Hunt. Her chemistry with Sorbo is palpable, adding a layer of depth to the story that elevates it above your average action-thriller.

The action scenes in Flesh Wounds are well-crafted and intense, with plenty of gunfire and explosions to keep the adrenaline flowing. The movie also has a strong sense of pacing, with the action ramping up and down in a way that keeps the audience engaged throughout.

What sets Flesh Wounds apart from other action-thrillers is its focus on character development. Despite the non-stop action, the characters are given room to breathe and evolve over the course of the story. Tyler, in particular, has a satisfying arc that is both believable and emotionally satisfying.

In short, Flesh Wounds is a solid action-thriller that delivers on its promise of non-stop excitement. With strong performances from its lead actors and a thoughtful approach to character development, it stands out as one of the better entries in its genre. If you're a fan of tough-guy heroes and explosive action, Flesh Wounds is definitely worth a watch.
