Fikret Bey (Mr Fikret) is about the story of one day in the life of a businessman, Fikret Özsoy, who has had a long life with many ups and downs. The routine of that day, the 13th of October 1988, is the story of decline, a finale, a demise. As Fikret Bey has witnessed the deterioration of many values he had believed in, we are presented with the recent history of Turkey through him and people around him.
