Fighting Fish is a drama film revolving around the life of a talented painter, Leo (Val Emmich) who at the tender age of 21, loses his brother, Jamison (Tyler Langdon), in a tragic accident that happens in his presence. The memory of his brother's death and the guilt that it carries plagues him for years, causing him to turn to drugs and lose his raison d'être. As a result, he abandons his artistic talent and becomes a violent, self-destructive drug addict.

The film takes place in the present, whereby Leo is out of jail, clean, and on probation. She invites him to be part of her crew as they prepare to take over the city with massive graffiti art.
