Festival is a South Korean drama. It was directed by Im Kwon-taek and is based on a novel written by Lee Cheon-jun. Lee Joon-seop, a famous writer travels to his hometown to go to his mother's funeral. His illegitimate niece is also at the funeral. She has been ostracized from their family. During the funeral, family conflicts begin to resurface. The illegitimate niece reads Lee's story about a grandmother who somehow gives her life energy to her granddaughter.
