Feeding Boys, Ayaya centers on a self-proclaimed Christian evangelist named Davin who makes it his mission to save gay prostitutes when his own brother joins them. The story takes place in China. It documents the sort of life that the boys live. Not all of the favors that they do are sexual, sometimes they are ordered to do simple domestic favors such as cleaning the house or washing their client's dishes. Their days typically seem to pass quite slowly and the only real unpredictability is the irregular hours of sleep due to the fact that their clients are allowed to call them at any time, day or night.
As the documentary shows, there are various reasons for why the boys are in the profession. Those reasons range from honoring the “world's oldest profession” to earning “easy money”. The public often believes that prostitution is the same for everyone. This documentary does an excellent job of showing otherwise.
Feeding Boys, Ayaya is a 2005 drama with a runtime of 1 hour and 17 minutes.
