In the movie Exit Plan, we are introduced to Max (played by Nikolaj Coster-Waldau), a skilled engineer who has a talent for solving complicated problems. He works for an advanced technology company that specializes in creating artificial intelligence, and the company has developed a new project that Max is tasked with working on. Max is a bit of a loner and has a troubled past, but his work with the company has given him a purpose in life. However, his world is turned upside down when he is suddenly fired from his job and offered a huge sum of money to work on a top-secret project for a competing company. Max is hesitant at first but eventually agrees to take on the project, which involves designing an underground bunker that will be used to help people survive a global catastrophe.

Max's new job brings him into contact with a number of interesting characters, including his new boss Elon (played by Robert Aramayo) and a woman named Laerke (played by Tuva Novotny) who has a personal connection to the bunker project. As Max delves deeper into the project, he begins to uncover some alarming information about the true purpose of the bunker and realizes that he may have gotten in over his head.

The plot of Exit Plan is both complex and engaging, with plenty of twists and turns that keep the audience on their toes. The movie is well-paced and does a great job of building tension as the story progresses. The cast is also top-notch, with Coster-Waldau delivering a standout performance as the troubled but determined Max.

One of the things that sets Exit Plan apart from other movies in the same genre is its focus on character development. We get to know Max and the other characters on a personal level, which makes it easier to understand and appreciate their motivations. The movie also explores some interesting themes, such as the ethics of advanced technology and the lengths that people will go to in order to survive.

Another thing that works well in Exit Plan is the cinematography. The movie is shot in a way that creates a sense of claustrophobia and isolation, which is fitting given the underground setting. The special effects are also impressive, particularly when it comes to the bunker itself and the various technological gadgets that are showcased throughout the film.

Overall, Exit Plan is a well-crafted, thought-provoking movie that is sure to please fans of the sci-fi and thriller genres. While it may not have received a lot of mainstream attention, it is definitely worth seeking out and giving a watch.

Exit Plan is a 2020 drama with a runtime of 1 hour and 30 minutes. It has received mostly poor reviews from critics and viewers, who have given it an IMDb score of 5.1 and a MetaScore of 46.
