Watch ESL: English as a Second Language

Unlike what its title suggests, the 2005 film is actually about an illegal Mexican laborer named Bolivar de la Cruz who has just completed the journey over the Mexican border and into Los Angeles, California. There, she meets up with a Californian club girl named Lola Sara whose parents made the same journey 20 years before. From there, the two parties, who come from different times and cultures, clash with each other.
