Adam Bell is a history professor. He leads a relatively normal life until he makes a startling discovery that will throw him, and the people around him, for a loop. One night, Adam goes to an erotic, underground club to watch a show that, much to Adam's surprise, features a man who looks shockingly like him. Upon a coworker's suggestion, Adam rents "Where There's a Will There's a Way." He soon realizes that this same man from the show he saw is an actor in this film, and that he is the spitting image of his own self--like looking into a mirror.

Adam goes on to rent a couple more movies that this man, Anthony Claire, has starred in. He develops more than a fascination, but an obsession for this man. The two are even confused by their loved ones.

Eventually, Adam and Anthony meet at a hotel, where they learn that, despite their temperamental differences, they are exact physical copies of each other. They now take advantage of this revelation to play with each other's lives. When a tragedy occurs, one is left to live on, looking like either man.

Enemy is a 2014 thriller with a runtime of 1 hour and 30 minutes. It has received moderate reviews from critics and viewers, who have given it an IMDb score of 6.9 and a MetaScore of 61.
