Watch El Greco

This story covers the life of the painter El Greco (1541-1614), played by Nick Ashdon, from his early success as a painter of icons in Cretahasta, his work as a painter of altarpieces and portraits in Toledo. El Greco enters the workshop of an old painter named Titian, who would advise caution when trying to be powerful. At the workshop, El Greco also meets the future Cardinal Fernando Niño de Guevara, who appreciates a talent El Greco is not sure of. Niño de Guevara suggests Greco to engage in religious paintings recognizing that his painting style is a "dangerous" one.
