"El Dorado" is a Spanish language film from the year of 1988. Its narrative concerns an expedition of conquistadors during the mid-1500s, leading them along the Amazon and the Orinoco, in order to locate El Dorado, the legendary golden city of paradise. While the soldiers brought along followers and family members, the sojourn soon devolves into madness and fighting against the jungle and against their own people.
