Watch El Dorado: Temple of the Sun

The movie El Dorado: Temple of the Sun was released in 2010 and is the first part of an action packed adventure mini-series. The story follows Jack Wilder, who has had formal training as an archaeologist. Soon after the start of the film, Jack witnesses his friend dying in an explosion and decides to leave his current job to go on an expedition to South America. This ultimately causes his boss to become quite upset, but he is determined to go.

After leaving his job, Jack embarks on the adventure to look for a valuable artifact lost in South America called The Golden Calendar. He needs this piece so he can discover the way to find the famed treasures of El Dorado. He believes that even though people have seen this old Incan city, that no gold was ever found because it was hidden too well. He intends on being the one to find this gold of El Dorado. However, before long he soon realizes that he is going to get a lot more than he bargained for on the trip.

While traveling through the jungle, Jack also has to resolve personal problems with his ex, who happens to be in his group. A lot of drama in his personal life is revealed, but there is not much time to focus on those issues since there are more pressing dangers that have to be dealt with.

During his hunt for this Golden Calendar and the fabled treasure it leads to, Jack and his group encounter many people and various dangers. Not only is the jungle a harsh environment that is full of danger in itself, he also has to avoid hostile native tribes, drug lords and even corrupt politicians. In addition. while looking for El Dorado Jack will have to avoid getting caught in deadly traps and find secret entrances to reach the city and the gold within.
