Eight Miles High is a German biographical movie that is about the life of Uschi Obermaier. The film was released in theaters in Germany in 2007 and in the USA in 2008. Eight Miles High chronicles the life of Uschi Obermair, who became famous after her affairs with rock stars such as Keith Richards of the Rolling Stones. After her scandalous affairs which brought her great fame, she becomes an international supermodel being featured on the covers of Playboy and Stern. Rejecting an acting career offered to her, Obermaier decides to continue her reckless lifestyle, and becomes a symbol of the sexual freedom of the 1960's.
