Don't Kill It is a 2016 horror movie directed by Mike Mendez and starring Dolph Lundgren, Kristina Klebe, and Tony Bentley. The movie revolves around an ancient demon known as "the Djin" that possesses people's bodies and makes them commit heinous acts of violence. Lundgren plays Jebediah Woodley, a demon hunter tasked with stopping the Djin from wreaking havoc in a small Mississippi town.

The movie opens with a scene of a man killing his family in an act of senseless violence. It is soon revealed that he was possessed by the Djin, an evil entity that has been terrorizing the world for centuries. We then meet Jebediah Woodley, a rough-and-tumble demon hunter who has been chasing the Djin for years. He arrives in the small town of Chicory Creek, Mississippi, just as the Djin is on the loose again.

Jebediah teams up with FBI agent Evelyn Pierce (Kristina Klebe) to stop the Djin. They quickly realize that this is no ordinary demon - it can only possess one person at a time, but when that person is killed, the demon simply moves on to another host. This means that killing the possessed individual is not a solution, as it only allows the demon to continue its rampage in a new body.

The situation becomes even more complicated when the town's sheriff (Tony Bentley) becomes possessed by the Djin. Sheriff Spenser is a beloved member of the community, and the townspeople refuse to believe that he is capable of the violent acts he commits while possessed. Jebediah and Evelyn are forced to come up with a plan to stop the demon without harming the sheriff or any of the other townspeople.

As the movie progresses, the tension builds and the body count rises. Jebediah and Evelyn must find a way to break the demon's hold on the townspeople and send it back to whatever hellish dimension it came from. Along the way, they encounter a host of colorful characters, including a conspiracy theorist who believes that the government is behind the demon's appearance and a group of redneck hunters who are determined to take down the demon themselves.

Don't Kill It is a fun and thrilling horror movie that delivers on its promise of gore and scares. The performances are solid, with Lundgren bringing his trademark stoicism to the role of Jebediah and Klebe holding her own as the tough-as-nails FBI agent. The supporting cast is also enjoyable, with Bentley standing out as the possessed sheriff.

The movie is not without its flaws, however. The pacing can be a bit slow at times, and some of the dialogue feels stilted and cliché. The demon itself is also a bit underwhelming - while its possession of various characters leads to some gruesome and creative death scenes, it never feels like a truly formidable foe.

Overall, though, Don't Kill It is a solid horror movie that will satisfy fans of the genre. It may not reinvent the wheel, but it delivers the goods in terms of scares and gore. Lundgren fans will also appreciate seeing the action star in a more supernatural role, and horror fans will enjoy the inventive death scenes and the fun premise of a demon that can only be stopped by not killing its host.

Don't Kill It is a 2017 fantasy movie with a runtime of 1 hour and 33 minutes. It has received moderate reviews from critics and viewers, who have given it an IMDb score of 5.2.
