Donkey Punch is a British thriller movie from 2008, directed by Oliver Blackburn. The movie features Sian Breckin, Nichola Burley, Jaime Winstone, Tom Burke, Robert Boulter, and Julian Morris in the lead roles. The plot follows a group of young people who meet while holidaying in Majorca, and things take a fatal turn when one of them dies during consensual sex.

The story begins with three young British girls, Tammi (Nichola Burley), Kim (Jaime Winstone) and Lisa (Sian Breckin) heading to Majorca to have some fun. They go clubbing and meet four young men, Marcus (Jay Taylor), Bluey (Tom Burke), Josh (Julian Morris) and Sean (Robert Boulter). They hang out and consume drugs and alcohol, eventually moving to a luxurious yacht owned by one of the men.

After some fun and games on the yacht, things become more intimate between the guys and the girls. The party becomes more sexual, and eventually, Tammi agrees to have sex with one of the guys, Josh. However, things quickly take a dark turn when Josh tries to perform a dangerous sex act with Tammi, jumping off a platform and landing on her while in mid-air, thus causing her to die almost instantly.

The guys begin to panic, and rather than seek help, they decide to try and get away with murder. They come up with a plan to make it look like a freak accident and purposely damage the yacht to make it appear like there was a mechanical failure. The group dynamic begins to break down as trust and loyalty are questioned, and the tension builds as they try to cover up what happened that fateful night.

Donkey Punch is a dark and disturbing movie that explores the often-thin line between pleasure and danger. The film is not for the faint-hearted as it has several graphic and violent scenes of sex and abuse. It is a psychological thriller that explores the themes of power, control, fear and loyalty, as the group dynamics shift and each person struggles with their own guilt and fear.

The movie is well-acted and beautifully shot, with the stunning scenery of Majorca juxtaposed against the horror that is unfolding on the yacht. The tension builds slowly, and the viewer is drawn into the story as the layers of lies and deception begin to unravel. The movie also features an excellent soundtrack, with a mix of British and Spanish music adding to the immersive quality of the film.

Overall, Donkey Punch is not a typical movie, but for those who enjoy dark and gritty thrillers, it is a must-see. It offers a disturbing insight into the psyche of young people on holiday, and the dangers that exist beneath the surface of seemingly innocent fun. The movie is a cautionary tale of the dangers of hedonism, and will stay with the viewer long after the credits have rolled.

In conclusion, Donkey Punch is a disturbing and controversial movie that will not appeal to everyone, but for those with the stomach for it, it offers a thrilling and thought-provoking experience. Oliver Blackburn's direction is excellent, and the performances of the young cast are thoroughly compelling. It is not a movie that will leave the viewer feeling uplifted or inspired, but it is a powerful and unforgettable experience nonetheless.

Donkey Punch is a 2007 horror movie with a runtime of 1 hour and 39 minutes. It has received mostly poor reviews from critics and viewers, who have given it an IMDb score of 5.2 and a MetaScore of 43.
