Do Chor is a 1972 Bollywood film directed by Padmanabh which belongs to the genre of heist or robbery films. The movie stars Dharmendra, Tanuja Samarth, K.N. Singh in lead roles. The story of this movie revolves around two convicts, Raja and Ratan (played by Dharmendra) who escape from jail and get involved in a heist of a priceless necklace that belongs to a rich woman named Gita (played by Tanuja Samarth). The duo is aided by a gang of professional thieves led by a seasoned criminal named Vikram (played by K.N. Singh). The rest of the movie follows the trials and tribulations of the robbers as they scheme and plan to execute the heist.
The opening sequence of the movie introduces us to Raja and Ratan who are incarcerated in a prison. They are seen to be sharing a strong bond and are shown to have complete trust and faith in each other. One day, a prison riot breaks out and the duo uses the opportunity to escape. They make a run for it and end up taking refuge in a hilly area. Here, they come across Vikram who is intrigued by their story and decides to bring them into his fold.
Vikram is a seasoned criminal who runs an organized gang of professional thieves. He has a team of expert criminals who are adept at conning and robbing rich people. Vikram needs Raja and Ratan's help to execute a big heist that he has been planning for a long time. The heist involves stealing a diamond necklace that belongs to a rich woman named Gita who lives in a large mansion.
Raja and Ratan are initially hesitant to get involved in the heist but Vikram persuades them by offering them a large sum of money in return. The trio then launches into planning the heist by doing a dry run of the timing and seizing opportunities to enter the mansion. Along the way, they face many challenges that they must overcome to pull off the heist successfully.
One of the challenges that the gang faces is the fact that Gita has a pet parrot who is trained to alert her of any suspicious activity. They must find a way to neutralize the bird without raising suspicion. Vikram comes up with a plan by getting a man to dress up as a birdcage cleaner and allowing him to enter the premises.
Another challenge that the gang faces is when Raja and Ratan accidentally trip off the alarm of Gita's mansion while trying to exit with the necklace. This leads to a chase sequence in which the gang must rely on their skills and tactics to evade the police and make a clean getaway.
