Dismissed is a thriller film that was released in 2017. The movie follows the character of Lucas Ward, a high school English teacher who is trying to get his tenure at the school. Lucas is portrayed by Kent Osborne, who gives a very convincing performance in this dark and twisted film. Lucas is very passionate about literature and wants his students to learn and appreciate it as much as he does. However, his students are not as excited about reading as he is, which leads to some students getting low grades in his class.

One day, a new student named Alex Stevens, played by Dylan Sprouse, joins his class. Alex quickly becomes one of Lucas' favorite students as he is very intelligent and takes a lot of interest in the class.

As the story progresses, it becomes more and more evident that Alex is not as perfect as he seems. He is very manipulative and does not hesitate to get what he wants, even if it means crushing someone else's dreams.

Lucas soon realizes that Alex is not just interested in getting good grades, but he has ulterior motives. Alex has a plan to get into a prestigious Ivy League school, and he will do whatever it takes to achieve his goal.

As Lucas tries to understand what is happening, Alex starts manipulating his way into Lucas' personal life. He starts planting evidence that makes it seem like Lucas is not the perfect teacher that he appears to be.

Lucas starts feeling the pressure and becomes more and more obsessed with Alex, trying to prove that he is not the perfect student that everyone thinks he is. This obsession leads Lucas down a dark path, and he becomes more and more unstable as the story progresses.

As the film reaches its climax, the audience is left on the edge of their seats, wondering what will happen next. The final scene of the movie is a shocking twist that will leave the viewers stunned.

The direction of the movie by Benjamin Arfmann is very impressive. He has managed to keep the audience hooked throughout the movie and has created an atmosphere that is both suspenseful and disturbing.
