Disclosure is a 1994 American thriller film directed by Barry Levinson and starring Michael Douglas, Demi Moore, and Donald Sutherland. The movie is based on the novel of the same name by Michael Crichton. The plot revolves around a sexual harassment case in a high tech corporation, where a former lover accuses her ex-boyfriend of sexual harassment.

The movie opens with Tom Sanders (Michael Douglas), a senior executive at a high tech corporation, in the running for a coveted promotion. The post is given to Meredith Johnson (Demi Moore), a former girlfriend of Tom's, and he is assigned to work under her. Initially, Tom is not happy with this decision but tries to work with Meredith to make the company successful.

One evening, Meredith invites Tom over to her office for a discussion regarding a new project they are working on. Once there, Meredith makes advances towards Tom, which he initially rebuffs. But as the night progresses, the two end up having sex. The next day, Tom feels guilty about cheating on his wife and makes it clear to Meredith that what happened between them should not happen again.

Meredith, on the other hand, is furious about Tom's rejection and accuses him of sexual harassment. She files a complaint with the company's Human Resources department, which triggers an investigation into the matter. Tom's career, reputation, and personal life are on the line. Meanwhile, the company is working on a new technology, which turns out to be flawed and poses a threat to the company's future.

As the story unfolds, Tom discovers that he is being set up by Meredith, who has ulterior motives. Tom decides to fight back, and with the help of his lawyer (Donald Sutherland), he launches a counter-attack. He realizes that the allegations of sexual harassment were fabricated and uses his knowledge of the company's new technology to expose the real culprits.

The movie received mixed reviews upon its release. Some praised the performances of the lead actors, while others found the plot contrived and over-the-top. Despite the criticism, the movie was a box office success and grossed over $214 million worldwide.

Michael Douglas gives a solid performance, portraying a man who is falsely accused of sexual harassment and has to fight to clear his name. Demi Moore is convincing as a ruthless executive who will stop at nothing to achieve her goals, even if it means taking down an innocent man. Donald Sutherland provides comic relief as Tom's lawyer, who is not afraid to bend the rules to help his client.

The movie touches upon themes of sexual harassment, power dynamics in the workplace, and corporate intrigue. The plot is fast-paced, and the film keeps the viewers on the edge of their seats. The music by Ennio Morricone adds to the tension and drama of the story.

Overall, Disclosure is an engaging thriller that showcases the talents of its lead actors. The movie explores relevant issues that are still prevalent today, three decades after its release. Disclosure is a must-watch for fans of the thriller genre and provides insight into the perceived power dynamics that still affect the corporate realm.
