Nothing is ever enough for Dheewarayo. He isn't like other people, in fact he isn't even a person. He is a cyborg. His hardware can't support the complex emotional software that is required to be happy in modern society. He attempts to cope by excelling in every skill he learns. He beats his peers with ease but he doesn't understand why people don't like. Finally, he decides he must change his life or risk becoming lonely forever. He cuts off his arms and calls himself Worm. This new persona changes his friendships and launches him in new and adventurous directions.
