Set in the bustling city of Chennai, Dev follows the journey of a carefree, charming and affluent youngster named Dev Ramalingam, played by Karthi. Growing up in a privileged family, Dev grows up to become a successful businessman, carelessly living his life indulging in parties, women, and luxury cars. However, his life takes an unexpected turn when he meets Meghna, played by Rakul Preet Singh, a successful and independent professional who is focused on her career. Despite their initial misunderstanding, Dev and Meghna soon find themselves drawn towards each other, and their relationship slowly blossoms into love.
