Watch Desperate Measures

The movie Desperate Measures follows Frank who is a police officer. His dying son Matt needs a bone marrow transplant. The only match is Peter McCabe, who is a sociopath and is in prison for murder. He is in restraints due to his violent behavior. McCabe agrees to the transplant with a plan to escape in mind. In the hospital he attacks the staff and gets away from the police. McCabe is caught with a knife to someone's throat. The police will not kill him. McCabe shoots an officer and gets away.

Peter is ordered off the case and goes to find McCabe on his own. McCabe watches Peter on the security cameras and realizes he is a concerned father. McCabe kidnaps Matt but lets him go.
