Watch Defying Gravity

When a mute girl named Cassandra runs away from an abusive step-father after her mother's death, she decides to hide out somewhere that she feels safe. It just happens to be the same Jewish cemetery where her mother was buried. While at the cemetery, she is protected by the resident caretaker named Jorge who is aware of the dangers awaiting the girl if she was to go home. While in town one day, Cass meets a highly intelligent homeless man named Shore. When Cass ends up lost, her new set of friends set out on an adventure to find her before her step-father does.
