Day of the Warrior is a 1996 action-packed movie that revolves around a trio of fearless government agents - Cobra (Julie Strain), Scorpion (Kevin Light), and Shark (Cristian Letelier). The movie is a sequel to the infamous and cult classic movie, Guns, Girls, and Gangsters, and features the same adult-oriented themes and over-the-top action sequences as its predecessor.

The story takes place in Hawaii, where a cunning and dangerous villain named Santiago (Roddy Piper) is running a multimillion-dollar drug empire. He has managed to evade law enforcement and has an entire team of loyal and lethal henchmen working for him, making him almost untouchable. However, Santiago's empire is also the perfect cover for his other more devious plan. He aims to use his drugs to brainwash and enslave his female customers, turning them into his personal army of sex slaves that he can use to take over the world.

In the midst of this chaos, the trio of government agents, Cobra, Scorpion, and Shark, are called in to stop Santiago and prevent him from executing his vile plan. Together, they embark on a mission to infiltrate Santiago's lair and take down his operation once and for all.

The movie features a lot of high-octane action sequences, which are a hallmark of films produced by Andy Sidaris. The three agents, each with their unique set of skills, navigate through Santiago's heavily guarded lair, dodging bullets, and taking down his henchmen one by one. Accompanied by non-stop violence, there are a lot of other exciting features to enjoy.

Despite being packed full of action and adventure, the movie manages to provide ample doses of drama and humor. The romantic angle between Scorpion and the mysterious new recruit, Willow Black (Shae Marks), provides a much-needed break from the intense action scenes. Additionally, the comic duo of Beau (Marcus Bagwell) and Doc Austin (Drew David), who provide the team with their gadgets and weapons, provides numerous moments of laughter and lightheartedness.

Another exciting feature of the movie is the strong feminist undertone. The three main characters are all women, making the movie a refreshing change from the usual male-dominated action genre. The women are portrayed as strong and capable, successfully taking down the villains, and rescuing the men when needed.

The movie's soundtrack features an eclectic mix of genres, including rock, pop, and even reggae. The songs used are well-matched to particular scenes, enhancing the overall movie experience.

Overall, Day of the Warrior is a thrilling movie that is sure to entertain fans of the action and adventure genre. With its non-stop action sequences, charming characters, and unforgettable soundtrack, the movie is sure to keep viewers at the edge of their seats from beginning to end.

Day of the Warrior is a 1997 action movie with a runtime of 1 hour and 37 minutes. It has received mostly poor reviews from critics and viewers, who have given it an IMDb score of 3.8.
