David tells the story of Daud, a young Muslim boy growing up in Brooklyn. The boy befriends a group of Jewish boys and is mistaken for being Jewish. Since he is trying to conceal his Muslim identity, he goes along with it. In doing so, he experiences freedom and a lack of prejudice that he wasn't privy to before.
