This documentary captures the life of choreographer and world-famous dancer Pina Bausch. In 2008, Pina chooses a group of teenagers to star in her dance piece. The teenagers have never danced before and don't realize who Pina is. As the movie goes on, the audience's eyes are opened to the hard work, expression, and emotion the teenagers put in each day to perfect Pina's emotional dance piece and foster their growth into young adults.
