Watch Dancer

Emily, a Midwestern girl is tired of working at a gas station in her rural hometown. She watches VHS tapes of ballet performances from her local library. Her boyfriend is unsupportive of her dream to learn ballet and move to New York City. She seeks out books on ballet and discovers that Dora, a librarian, used to be a ballet dancer during her youth, but had to stop after an injury prevented her from dancing further. In exchange for doing household chores, Emily is taught by Dora all of the subtleties that she requires. Emily then must choose her path.
