Curse of the Zodiac is a movie based on a true story. Their is a killer in San Francisco and everyone is wondering who is next. The killer commits brutal murders and then calls these murders into the police station admitting that he did it. This killer goes as far as sending in puzzles to the local paper and these puzzles give away the killers name. These sick mind games create havoc throughout the entire city and the police station and newspaper employees start hating one another; this is precisely what the killer wants.
After a particular killing, two officers pass by the killer but do not think of it as anything and pass him by. The killer puts this into a letter and the police station looks even worse.
After interviewing many individuals there is still no good grounds to charge anyone; it is just one big mystery wrapped up in a bigger mystery.
