Croczilla is a 2012 Chinese monster movie directed by Li Sheng Chen. The film follows the story of a crocodile that grows abnormally large after being exposed to radiation from a nearby nuclear power plant. The crocodile is accidentally released into a small town in China, where it wreaks havoc and causes destruction. The movie centers around the efforts of the local authorities and a group of civilians to capture and subdue the monster before it can cause any more damage.

The movie opens with a fictitious news report about the aftermath of a nuclear accident at a nearby power plant, which has caused a crocodile to grow to enormous size. The narration informs the viewers that the crocodile was discovered and captured by a team of scientists, who kept it in captivity for further research. However, the crocodile subsequently escapes and finds its way to a nearby town, where it begins to cause destruction and chaos.

The first half of the movie focuses on introducing the characters and showcasing the crocodile's attacks on multiple locations in the town. We are introduced to the main protagonist, Xiao (played by Barbie Hsu), a rebellious teenager who is struggling with her personal life. She forms a bond with the local fisherman Amao (played by Tao Guo), who is also struggling to make ends meet due to the crocodile's attacks on his fishing business. The two team up in order to help the authorities capture the monster.

As the movie progresses, the plot thickens and we see the crocodile evolve into a more intelligent and adaptive monster. The authorities realize that capturing the monster is not as easy as they initially thought, and they turn to a team of experts for help. The team is led by a renowned crocodile expert, who is played by Zhaoqi Shi. The expert develops a plan to capture the monster by luring it into a trap using a robotic crocodile as bait.

The climax of the movie is an intense action sequence, in which the team attempts to capture the crocodile before it can cause any more damage. During the pursuit, the monster displays a newfound intelligence and an ability to outsmart its pursuers, making the task even more difficult. The scene is filled with suspense, and the final face-off between the two crocodiles is the highlight of the movie.

Overall, Croczilla is an enjoyable monster movie with a unique concept. While the plot is somewhat predictable and the CGI effects are not top-notch, the movie manages to keep the viewers engaged with its fast-paced action sequences and interesting characters. The movie's focus on the importance of teamwork and resilience in the face of adversity is a refreshing change from the usual monster movie tropes. The movie is definitely worth a watch for fans of the genre.

Croczilla is a 2012 crime movie with a runtime of 1 hour and 30 minutes. It has received mostly poor reviews from critics and viewers, who have given it an IMDb score of 4.2.
