In the sequel to the wildly successful Crocodile Dundee, we find the titular character Mick Dundee (played once again by Paul Hogan) now living in New York City with his girlfriend Sue (Linda Kozlowski). When Sue is threatened by a Colombian drug cartel, Mick must use his wilderness survival skills to protect her. The film opens with a group of tourists in the Australian Outback, looking to catch a glimpse of the famous crocodile hunter. They come upon Mick and his business partner Jacko (played by Steve Rackman) guiding a group of American tourists on a crocodile hunt. Mick impresses the crowd with his daring feats, including wrestling a massive crocodile.

Meanwhile, in New York City, Sue is investigating a story about a drug cartel operating in Colombia. When her informant is killed, Sue becomes a target of the cartel. Mick senses that something is wrong and decides to fly to New York to help her.

Mick arrives in New York and is immediately met with the hustle and bustle of the big city. He quickly adapts to his new surroundings, however, and begins his search for Sue. He tracks down her boss in a high-rise building, but is mistaken for a delivery man.

Eventually, Mick reunites with Sue and learns about the danger she is in. The two try to evade the cartel's henchmen, but are eventually cornered in the subway. It is here that Mick shines, using his survival skills to outsmart the heavily armed henchmen.

The rest of the film takes Mick and Sue on a wild adventure through the streets of New York and eventually to Colombia, where they must face off against the leader of the drug cartel (played by Juan Fernández). Mick once again uses his wilderness skills to survive in the jungle, while Sue shows off her own resourcefulness and ingenuity.

Throughout the film, Mick and Sue's relationship grows stronger as they rely on each other to survive. Mick also learns the value of technology and modern gadgets, but remains steadfast in his love for the simplicity of the Australian Outback.

Crocodile Dundee II is an exciting adventure film that combines action, romance, and humor. Paul Hogan is once again charming and charismatic as Mick Dundee, while Linda Kozlowski shines as the assertive and intelligent Sue. The film also features a standout performance from John Meillon as Mick's mentor and father figure, Walter Reilly.

Overall, Crocodile Dundee II is a fun and entertaining sequel that expands upon the world and characters established in the first film. It may not be as groundbreaking as its predecessor, but it is still a worthy addition to the franchise.

Crocodile Dundee II is a 1988 adventure movie with a runtime of 1 hour and 50 minutes. It has received mostly poor reviews from critics and viewers, who have given it an IMDb score of 5.7 and a MetaScore of 41.
