Crepitus is a horror film from 2018 that follows a group of teenagers who stumble upon a terrifying clown named Crepitus. The film stars horror veteran Bill Moseley as the creepy clown, as well as Eve Mauro and Frederick George Stuhrberg. The movie begins with a troubled mother, Jamie, worrying about her two teenage children, Elizabeth and Sam. Jamie is an alcoholic and constantly argues with her children. After a fight with her mother, Elizabeth decides to take her brother and run away from home. They stumble upon an abandoned house in the woods and decide to stay there for the night.

As they settle in, they begin to hear strange noises and notice that someone is watching them. They soon come face to face with Crepitus, a terrifying clown who has been living in the woods for years. Crepitus is not your typical clown, and he's not here to make people laugh. He's a cannibalistic clown who preys on children and eats them.

The rest of the movie follows Elizabeth and Sam's attempt to escape from Crepitus and survive the night. Along the way, they meet a group of teenagers who are also in the woods and trying to escape from Crepitus. Together, they must fight for survival against the sadistic clown and his twisted sense of humor.

As they venture deeper into the woods, they discover more about Crepitus' past and what drove him to become the monster that he is today. They also encounter a few other characters who have been affected by Crepitus' reign of terror, including a severely traumatized young girl who was kidnapped and abused by the clown.

The acting in Crepitus is solid, with Moseley delivering a particularly chilling performance as the titular clown. Mauro and Stuhrberg also hold their own as the troubled siblings who are thrust into this nightmare.

The movie's atmosphere is appropriately creepy and unsettling, with the abandoned house and the dense woods providing an eerie backdrop for the action. The special effects are well done, with Crepitus' makeup and costume adding to his terrifying presence.

Overall, Crepitus is a solid horror movie that will appeal to fans of the genre. While it may not break any new ground, it delivers the scares and the gore that horror fans crave. If you're looking for a creepy clown movie that will make you think twice about going into the woods, Crepitus is definitely worth checking out.

Crepitus is a 2018 horror movie with a runtime of 1 hour and 23 minutes. It has received mostly poor reviews from critics and viewers, who have given it an IMDb score of 2.8.
