Coyote is a 2010 American independent black comedy film directed and written by Brian Petsos. The film stars Joshua Burge as Ben, a low-level enforcer, who is sent to kill a woman named Claire (Marci Stembol) by his boss, Mitchell (Bill Oberts Jr.). Along the way, Ben meets an eccentric homeless man named Warhol (Johnny Weekend) and embarks on a surreal journey through the streets of Detroit.

The movie opens with Ben's boss, Mitchell, giving him the assignment to kill Claire. He is given a photo of her and her address and told to make it look like an accident. Ben sets out to complete his task but is distracted by Warhol, who claims to be a former boxer and offers to be Ben's bodyguard.

As they travel together, Warhol begins to reveal his twisted philosophy of life to Ben, which includes such nuggets of wisdom as "The more you hurt, the stronger you get." They run into a variety of strange characters, including a man who claims to be the reincarnation of Elvis and a drag queen who performs on the streets.

As Ben begins to question his mission, he becomes increasingly protective of Claire, even though he hasn't yet met her. Warhol, meanwhile, tells increasingly outrageous stories about his past, including tales of sleeping with Marilyn Monroe and battling werewolves.

Eventually, Ben and Warhol arrive at Claire's house, where they find her in the midst of an altercation with her abusive boyfriend. Ben decides to take matters into his own hands and saves Claire from her boyfriend's clutches.

The film takes a surreal turn in its final act, as Ben and Warhol's journey becomes a hallucinatory odyssey through the streets of Detroit. They encounter bizarre, almost otherworldly characters, including a man who claims to be a demon and a woman who claims to be a witch.

The movie comes to a violent, bloody climax as Ben confronts Mitchell and his gang of enforcers in a showdown at a scrap yard. The film ends on a note of ambiguity, leaving the viewer to wonder about the ultimate fates of its characters.

Overall, Coyote is a strange, offbeat movie that defies easy categorization. It is a mix of black comedy, surrealism, and gritty urban drama, with a dash of social commentary thrown in for good measure. The performances are solid, especially Joshua Burge as Ben, who manages to imbue his character with both menace and vulnerability. Johnny Weekend's performance as Warhol is also noteworthy, bringing an off-kilter energy to the role that keeps the audience off balance.

While Coyote may not be for everyone, it is an interesting, thought-provoking movie that deserves attention for its unique vision and unconventional approach to storytelling.
