Watch Congkak

Congkak is a Malaysian horror movie released in 2008. The movie is directed by Ahmad Idham and stars Nanu Baharuddin, Riezman Khuzaimi, and Erynne Erynna. However, they soon discover that they're trapped in the house, and an unknown force is preventing their escape.

As the night progresses, the group is terrorized by terrifying and gruesome events. The spirits that possess Zafran and Dina start murdering the group one by one. The single friend, Wawa, is the only one who has the courage to confront the spirits and eventually discovers the history of the Congkak board.

The story behind the Congkak board is revealed through flashbacks of the grandfather of one of the couples. He was a wealthy man who was known for his brutality towards his servants. He would often organize Congkak matches and force his servants to play. If he won, he would punish them brutally, but losing was not an option either. If the servants won, they would be asked to pay for their victory with their lives. Eventually, the servants rebelled against the old man and killed him. His spirit is believed to be attached to the Congkak board, seeking revenge for the atrocities he committed.

The single friend, Wawa, eventually figures out a way to defeat the spirits and destroy the Congkak board. She uses an ancient ritual passed down through generations of her family to summon a guardian spirit to protect them. With the help of the guardian spirit, Wawa successfully destroys the Congkak board, and the group is able to escape the bungalow.
