Cold Skin is a 2017 science-fiction horror film directed by Xavier Gens and based on the 2002 novel of the same name by Spanish author Albert Sánchez Piñol. As tensions between Gruner and Friend come to a head and the amphibians launch a massive assault on the lighthouse, the true nature of the island's inhabitants is revealed, leading to a shocking and climactic finale.
