Watch Christopher Reeve: Hope in Motion

On the big screen Christopher Reeve rose to stardom playing the man of steel, Superman. In real life he proved himself to truly be a man of steel after a near fatal horseback riding accident in 1995. Reeve was left a quadriplegic but that didn't stop him from fighting back anyway he possibly could and even regaining some movement. He also fought for the more research in spinal cord injuries and he became an inspiration to so many. The film Christopher Reeve: Hope in Motion chronicles Christopher Reeve and his devoted wife Dana in their day to day life two years after the accident. It shows his determination not to stop fighting, to regain some mobility. This is a fight he would one day lose but still stands as a testament to others on having to courage never to give up even in the face of adversity.
