In the small town of Bald Mountain, a group of orphans are counting down the days until Christmas. The girls, who live in a run-down orphanage, have little hope that they will receive any gift for Christmas, until a new girl named Rose arrives. Unlike the other girls, Rose is full of life and a ray of sunshine in the sad and gloomy orphanage. She quickly befriends everyone, especially the shy and quiet little girl, Emily.
The girls' hopes are lifted when they receive invitations to a Christmas party at the lavish home of the town's wealthiest man, whose wife has a soft spot for orphaned children. The girls are excited and start preparing for the big day. However, their excitement is short-lived as they learn that they will not be allowed to attend the party unless they all have a gift to give to the other children at the party.
Devastated, the girls have no choice but to accept their fate and begin to think of ways to earn some money so they can buy gifts for each other. Rose, however, is determined to find a way to make sure everyone receives a gift. With the help of some of the other townspeople, she sets out to make Christmas a special one for the orphans.
As the days go by, the girls learn about the true meaning of Christmas and the importance of love, kindness, and empathy. They learn that the greatest gift of all is the gift of friendship, and that regardless of their circumstances, they are a family, and they have each other.
As Christmas Day approaches, the girls are excited to see what surprises await them. Will they be able to attend the Christmas party, and will they all receive gifts? Will Rose be able to make their Christmas wishes come true?
