From here on, the movie takes an unexpected turn as the friends team up to unravel a conspiracy that involves greed, deceit, and murder. With the help of their wits and their knowledge of hot pot cooking, the friends attempt to outsmart Liu and his accomplices and save their successful business from complete ruin.
