Chinnodu is a 2006 Telugu film directed by Kanmani and stars Sumanth, Charmme Kaur, and Rahul Dev in the lead roles. The film is a romantic drama with a twist of action and revolves around the lives of Raju (Sumanth) and Swetha (Charmme Kaur), who fall in love with each other despite coming from different social backgrounds. The story begins with Raju, a carefree and happy-go-lucky guy who lives with his best friend Suri (Sunil) in a small town. He is unemployed and spends his days hanging out with his friends and chasing girls. On the other hand, Swetha is a hard-working and ambitious girl from a wealthy family who is pursuing her MBA in the city.

One day, Raju sees Swetha and is instantly smitten by her. He tries to impress her by making up stories about himself and his life, but Swetha sees through his lies and is not impressed. However, Raju doesn't give up and continues to pursue her. Eventually, Swetha starts to fall for Raju's carefree nature and his ability to make her laugh.

As their relationship blossoms, Raju's past catches up with him. He is revealed to have a dark history, having been involved with a gang in his hometown. The leader of the gang is none other than Swetha's father, who is also a corrupt politician. Raju's past threatens to destroy their relationship, but Swetha stands by him and helps him make things right.

Chinnodu is a well-paced and well-acted film with plenty of emotional moments and action scenes. Sumanth delivers a standout performance as Raju, bringing a depth to the character that elevates the film. Charmme Kaur is also impressive as Swetha, bringing a warmth and charm to her character that makes her easy to root for.

Despite its many strengths, the film does suffer from a predictable storyline and some cliched moments. The romance between Raju and Swetha is sweet, but it follows a familiar formula that has been used in countless other films. The action scenes are also fairly standard and do not offer anything new or exciting.

Overall, Chinnodu is an enjoyable romantic drama that offers some solid performances and well-crafted emotional moments. While it may not be groundbreaking or particularly original, it is a pleasant and engaging film that is worth watching for fans of the genre.

Chinnodu is a 2006 action movie. It has received mostly poor reviews from critics and viewers, who have given it an IMDb score of 4.0.
