The movie is set in a rural village called Rayalaseema where two factions, headed by Chennakeshava Reddy (Bala Krishna) and Narasimha Reddy (Chalapathi Rao), are at loggerheads with each other. They are bitter enemies and have their own agenda. Chennakeshava is a good-hearted person who wants peace to prevail in the village. He adopts a kid named Balaram (Bala Krishna) from Narasimha Reddy's clan and raises him as his own child. Balaram also grows up to be an ardent supporter of Chennakeshava.
