Watch Carmen, Baby

This film was directed by Radley Metzger and presents an adaptation of Prosper Merimee's novella. It was first released in the United States during the late 1960s, at a time when social turmoil was challenging many established conventions. The film stars German actress Uta Levka as a seductress named Carmen, a dissolute but physically beautiful woman who lures an upright Spanish policeman called Jose (Claus Ringer) away from his principled life and into a path that leads towards criminal behavior.
