Camp Massacre is a 2014 horror-comedy film starring Jim O'Rear, Daniel Emery Taylor, and Dick Warlock. The film follows a group of friends who decide to spend a weekend at Camp Hiawatha, an abandoned summer camp, in hopes of finding treasure rumored to be hidden there. However, they soon realize that they are not alone and are being hunted by a sadistic killer.

The film begins with a group of friends, including Tiffani (Bree Olson), Tyler (Jim O'Rear), and Brad (Daniel Emery Taylor), planning a weekend trip to Camp Hiawatha. They are joined by a couple of other friends, including the camp's caretaker, Harold (Dick Warlock). The group arrives at the camp and begins exploring the area, looking for the rumored treasure. However, they soon realize that they are not alone and are being hunted by a masked killer who is intent on killing everyone in the group.

As the group tries to survive, they begin to uncover the dark history of Camp Hiawatha. They learn that the camp was shut down years ago after a series of brutal murders, and that the killer has never been caught. With each passing moment, the group becomes more desperate to escape the camp and the killer that stalks them.

One of the strengths of the film is the humor. Despite being a horror film, it has many comedic moments that provide some relief from the tension. The jokes are often cheesy and predictable but can still be entertaining.

The characters in Camp Massacre are fairly one-dimensional, with little development or backstory. Most of the characters are there to fulfill horror movie archetypes, such as the jock, the nerd, and the promiscuous girl. The acting is also fairly mediocre, with few standout performances.

The film's pacing is a bit slow in the beginning, with much of the runtime devoted to the group's exploration of the camp. However, once the killer appears, the film becomes much more engaging. The kills are fairly gruesome and there are plenty of jump scares to keep viewers on edge.

One of the film's major weaknesses is the lack of originality. The premise of a group of friends being hunted by a masked killer in an abandoned summer camp has been done many times before, and there is little to differentiate Camp Massacre from other films in the genre. Additionally, the film's ending is fairly predictable and unsatisfying.

Overall, Camp Massacre is an entertaining horror-comedy that provides plenty of laughs and scares. While it does suffer from lack of originality and underdeveloped characters, it is still an enjoyable watch for fans of the slasher genre.

Camp Massacre is a 2014 comedy with a runtime of 2 hours and 10 minutes. It has received mostly poor reviews from critics and viewers, who have given it an IMDb score of 3.3.
