Watch Calypso Cat

Calypso Cat is a 1961 animated movie featuring the popular TV cat-mouse duo Tom and Jerry. Like all Tom and Jerry stories the basic plot involves Tom chasing Jerry. Jerry wreaks havoc on Tom while eluding capture. In this tale Tom sees and falls for a female cat. He follows on board a boat, and Jerry follows as well. Jerry, of course, makes it a point to interfere with Tom's attempt to woo and romanticize his new love interest. Tom has several plans to charm the Persian cat, but Jerry always seems to be one step ahead of him. Fans of the original Tom and Jerry cartoons will get a kick out of this film version of the dynamic duo.
