Simon Brodigan is an innocent young man who turned to a life of stealing and petty crime after he felt as though the world had given up on him. Simon grew up in a home filled with nonstop fighting and violence. He was disowned by his father at a very young age, an occasion that has left him scarred until this very day. Nobody is eager to befriend him and vice versa. The only person who trusts Simon and enjoys his company is an old lady who runs a cactus shop. Simon works for her and is stealing money from right under her nose. However, as time progresses, Simon begins to appreciate life and begins to let go of his criminal ways.
